I have decided to return to this group after being away for a while. I am disappointed to find that the most recent post was 3 months (or was it weeks?) ago. It was very active when I left, so much so that it took up too much of my time and thought. I am missing Friends Meeting, the manner of worship, and the basic understanding of some of my values. It is partially my own fault. I live close enough to attend. But I am often pulled away for my job as a nurse, or to my husband's church which is only 5 minutes away. Stillwater is 30. Even on my days off, I am emotionally and/or physically weary, and I take the time to truly rest. His sister asked me this evening to come to a planning meeting for Sunday school at their Presbyterian Church. We are homeschooling our daughter, and after seeing some of what I've done, she felt I might be able to help with the preschool group. She is the education coordinator for the Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery. That is what probably made me come to this group, finally, after rejoining last week, to see what is being discussed. I am not a Presbyterian at heart. I feel like I should be bringing my daughter to Meeting, to attend 1st Day School. It might be nice to have some discussion, if some of you are still here. Thanks.
