Conservative Friend

I am a Friend becuse god led me to be........My trail has been long and at times confusing applying my leading to the maze of Friend style worship......

I have been to meetings always finding the light within and later appreciation the spirit of my life ..... thinking with the holy spirit in my heart what can I be part of  without judging another's path to god, is this what is meant for me.

I read scriptures simply and understand them that way. I look forward to unprogrammed meetings and at times have enjoyed the programed meetings.

My light has taken me to many churches and meetings outside  Friends meetings ,Due to the distance of any meeting in my area,.I attend with an open heart and mind. The light in everyone can be seen if you filter the light with the light, and have found the experience to be honest.

With that said I would benefit from more time in association with friends. 

We would all benefit from more association with Friends, Todd. I solo in a tractor trailer and don't get to meeting but once in two weeks, maybe. I don't take them for granted at all. Welcome aboard here.

Hey Todd,

Glad you have gotten to attend meeting.  And that you have gotten so many great things out of them.  Listening to your experience shows real similarities to Fox, Woolman, Penn and what I personally see as core beliefs of this CF blog in relation to there being an ocean of Light that washes over or filters out and overcomes what is not of the Light.  By your resisting our human tendency to judge others there seems to me to be another ray of Light.  How could we judge others without judging the Light who made or we might say produced them with all of their abilities and inabilites both in body and mind which slowly or quickly can change from the womb to when we pass. And has not the Light also allowed every experience, word and thought  added to them beyond themselves which can be of both good and bad for them?
