Conservative Friend

Hello. I thought I'd posted this yesterday, but apparently it went into the About Me section of my profile, so I'll try again...

My name is Sandra and I have been attending a liberal meeting in Maryland (USA) for about two months. Prior to that I had not attended any kind of religious gathering for more than 20 years. A little more than a year ago I became interested in Plain dress and became a part time to Plain dresser; I found this gave me a sense of peace and a new-found spirituality. I now read my Bible (almost) every day, and my meeting does have a monthly Bible class which I attend.

A Plain friend turned me on to this forum and I welcome any help and support the friends here can give me. I appreciate that I have a lot of catching up to do, but on the plus side I hail from Yorkshire, so maybe Quakerism is in my blood somewhere!
