Conservative Friend

I'm in Frederick, Maryland, and I've been in communication with the Rockingham MM.  Even though it's a bit of a distance, I plan to visit soon.  I don't currently attend a meeting in my area, though I was a member of a more liberal meeting here in Maryland and also an attender at Virginia Beach (NCYM). 

My interests include beekeeping, reading, cooking, sewing, gardening. I'm mom to two adult children and one granddaughter.

I'm here to learn of more weighty Friends and to contribute where possible.  I only recently acquiesced to a leading to become Plain which has been a marvelous, unexpected journey.

Frederick! I have spent many contemplative hours in the Pilots at Hagerstown, wonderng why Frederick no longer has a truck stop. Beekeeping is different in the east. I kept bees commercially in the west coast. Welcome.

I'm glad you're on the CF blog with us.  At this time I'm not able

to attend the nearest meeting in our area either for it is a bit of a

distance for me too but I do stay in contact.  I've 3 grown children

and like you, reading is one of my passions along with watching adventure documentaries.  May you and yours and everyone who

sees this message have all your needs met in this tuff economic

time and may kindness, favor and the length, width, depth and

height of total love, life, light and worth nothing has ever nor could

ever diminish continue to fill you up to overflowing pouring love,

peace and joy over you and your family and others.  So that with

each new dawn a new beginning comes like the brand new buds

on the trees that give us the tender, fresh, whole green leaves of

Spring.

Hi Jenna,

I lived in Frederick many years ago, when the truck stop WAS there, right next to the Frederick Keys ballpark. At the time I was a Navy Recruiter!

I have a keen interest in beekeeping myself, and I hope to start a few hives next Spring here in Castelo da Vide, Portugal. I see beekeeping as an art close to God, though my daughter's vision is of me being chased by a swarm. Any advice?
