The Conservative Friend

1. From I-70, take Exit 202 (Route 800) about six miles south to Barnesville.
2. Turn left (east) on Route 147 at the stoplight in the center of town.
   
3. Drive about 1.5 miles to the outskirts of town until you reach Roosevelt Road, where there is a large wooden sign on the right that reads "Stillwater Meeting of Friends, Home of Ohio Yearly Meeting (Cons.)."
4. Turn right on Roosevelt Road, and drive up the hill 1/2 mile to the stop sign.
5. The Meeting House is the very large brick building on the hilltop across the road directly in front of you.  Drive in, park anywhere, and enter from the porch.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Please note a number of changes from previous years.

Room and meal reservations will be handled by OYM members and must be received by 28 July 2008.

• Stop at the Meetinghouse porch to get room assignments as soon as you arrive.

Rooms are available in the Olney School dormitories and the Mary Davis Guest House (shared baths).  You may bring your own linen to the dorm rooms; include a pillow, towel, washcloth, and soap, and, if you want, blanket(s), coat hangers, fan, reading lamp, and paper cups.  Campers will be located near Stillwater Meetinghouse, with showers and toilet facilities nearby.

The fellowship of eating together is an important part of Yearly Meeting. Everyone is invited to join that fellowship in the Olney dining room.

• Kitchen staff must know at least 24 hours before each meal how many people will come.
• Please sign up for meals with your room registration. Please tell Sharon Helms, Susan Bailey, or Susan Smith of any necessary meal plan changes at least a full day in advance. 
• Payment for meals will be by donation. Friends who are able are asked to donate beyond the cost of meals (approx. $6/adult; $4/under 12) to assure that people who need to donate less can join in all meals.  The people eating each meal will be counted and Olney paid per person from donations at registration.
